We have now spent the last 4 nights at Gili Trawangan. We were supposed to leave yesterday, but all the boats back to Bali has been cancelled due to high waves.
We have spent the days doing excactly the same as we have been doint the last 14 days. We have relaxed by the beach, looking around, snorkling and eating.
We met up with two friends from home who is on the their honeymoon on Gili Trawangan. We went on a three hour snorkling trip together with them yesterday which was a fun experience, but unfortunatly a little sludgy.
Gili Trawangan is famous for all the partying and young people backpacking. It is the biggest of the three gili islands and has definitely the most shops and restaurants.
We have been staying at Cocotoa hotel which has been really nice and quite, but since we have to stay an extra night we have booked ourself into Marc hotel.
Tomorrow we have managed to book a small boat to take us over to Lombok, There we have a two hour taxiride to the south of Lombok until we at last need to take the big ferry 4 hours to Padang Bay on Bali. So cross fingers!
