Gili Meno Lombok

We have now been sleeping at Gili Meno for two nights.

After the boat picked us up at Gili air, after a 45 minute delay of course, they took us of to do some snorkling around Gili Meno. It was an amazing trip and absolutely one of our best snorkling experience ever. We saw a lot of turtles and fish together with som beautiful reefs.

Gili Meno is famous for its quite and calm surroundings and is also known as the "honeymoon"- island.

We have spent our two days here walking around, taking pictures, driving the drone and snorkling. Stine even met a seasnake and have never been swimming faster her whole life.

We stayed at Ganjor bungalows which was a small homestay with only three bungalows. It was okey standard, but 2 nights was enough.

The island is very nice, but what we noticed and was also suprised of was that the local people on this island seemed more stressed, angry and less tourist friendly.

We managed to charter a local boat to take us the 10 minute boatride over to Gili Trawangan after two days.
